More pictures for you to enjoy.

We went to Gettysburg last weekend. There's this really huge bear shop up there we wanted to visit.

They have bears ranging from affordable up to "they want how much?"

Bears everywhere.

Even bears painting a cow.

And bears on a hay ride.
Even a really huge pickanick basket.

Just a quick video of the bouncy chair.

Moving is all done except for the unpacking. We'll take our time with that.
New toy this week.

It's lots of fun to play with. He can bounce for half an hour or more.

It's very tiring, though.

His mom took other pictures, too.

And then we visited some of his mom's friends. He got a trip to Build-A-Bear.

Moving Day tomorrow, so an early post for today.
His mom got herself a new hat.

And he's still growing into the hat his dad got him in Chicago.

After they tried on hats, his mom went to play softball.

(That picture would have been better if the auto-focus hadn't centered on the fence.)
While she did that, Elijah helped his dad take some self-portraits.

He even had the "No Pictures" pose.

Big smile for the camera.

Yesterday he got some applesauce for the first time. He liked that a lot more than the formula/cereal mush.

And evidently his mother wasn't fast enough, so he got another first: pulling the spoon out of his mother's hand.

We pulled this out of the closet this week. I think it belonged to his cousin. He'll sleep there or play in it for a while before he gets upset.

He's still eating mush. We try to start feeding him while he's in a good mood.

Both of them smiling here.

Elijah went to the doctor's office yesterday. He now weighs 15 pounds, and he's 24 3/4" long.
The doctor said he could start eating cereal from a spoon, so we gave it a try.

He's a bit messy.
When I was feeding him, he kept smacking the spoon. Once he knocked the bowl over completely.

He's getting better at eating today. Either that, or we've gotten better at feeding him.
