First Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday was the little one's first trip to the zoo (in a way). His older brother saw a sign for a dragon, but I think he was disappointed they didn't have any dragons to look at. Silly zoos need more dragons. I think I've mentioned before that the kangaroos get very close at this zoo. This guy was about twenty feet away from us. We got to take the zoo train, but we missed the first one that came through. I had to tell the big one that the next one was coming soon. I'm fairly certain this is the little guy's first train trip. At lunch, he ran around with another girl who was there. After she left, he just ran around. Then, the little runt stole my hat! After I got my hat back, he had a chance to ride the chimpanzee. He tried to feed the deer, but he didn't want to get too close to them. He played in a snake. He played in a termite mound. The little one didn't play anywhere. Somewhere near the gorillas, the big one went to sleep, also. He woke up in time to see the polar bear again and take a ride home with some of the animals.

The younger one got to meet his grandparents this week.

He still sleeps most of the time, though.



Also, Batman showed up at our home this week.

Batman went on patrol in the back yard.

Batman played in the dirt with a stick.

Batman played with his glasses.


We went to see the dinosaurs again. Here, he's telling you where the dinosaurs are.

He found a book to read.

The little one didn't want books.

We had a photographer show up at the hospital, and her pictures just arrived in the mail.








We paid a lot of money for the rights to these, so I'm putting them up here.

Home and doing fine

We are all doing fine here.

We've been taking it easy for a few days.


The older one plays hard.

The younger one sleeps a lot.

He's still not sure what to think about anything.

We've got a fun weekend planned, so we'll have pictures of that soon.
